Camille Upshaw

Radical Educator

Camille Upshaw is an east coast based multi hyphenate creative. She works to heal the hearts and minds of others through her artistic endeavors as a theatre artist, playwright, entrepreneur, herbalist, mentor, and teaching artist. She was recently a part of the 2024 Theatre of Change Cohort with the Broadway Advocacy Coalition in partnership with Columbia Law School. Her one woman show “Passing Down” was selected as a highlight performance at the 2023 Newark Arts Festival. Along with her cast, she received the 2023 Berkie Award for Best Ensemble for the 10 x 10 Play Fest at Barrington Stage. She made her Broadway Debut in Douglas Lyon’s Chicken and Biscuits. She can be seen on networks such as HBO,CBS, OXYGN, & more.
